Trainee Fertilizer Manager

Woldmarsh Producers Ltd is a not for profit, co-operative, organisation working on behalf of our 1000 farming members in Lincolnshire & Yorkshire, to help keep British farming sustainable, environmental, and profitable.

As newer, greener ways of feeding crops emerge, this is an exciting time to start your career journey knowing you’re helping to feed tomorrows’ world. Through on the job and vocational training, you’ll be aiming to become a professional FACTS qualified advisor; the industry recognised professional standard.

As part of the Crops Team, you’ll be working with like-minded, enthusiastic colleagues who, like you, are aligned to the values we live by.   You’ll be learning about fertilizers, negotiating with suppliers, helping members, and contributing your ideas to the overall business.  It doesn’t stop at fertilizer, you might want to learn about environmental stewardship schemes and more,  gaining knowledge that sets you apart.

About you:

You don’t need an agricultural background, but you do need to be enthusiastic about supporting British Farming.

Your personal drive and commitment to succeed is important and you’ll not regret the effort to become an industry recognised professional with responsibility for a product area exceeding £20m per year.

A team player, who’s passionate about providing great service, you’ll need to be a multi-tasker in peak seasonal periods answering calls, processing orders and negotiating prices.

What we offer:

  • Being part of business where your ideas count.
  • A great environment with modern facilities in Louth, Lincolnshire
  • Mentoring in your role by an experienced and respected Fertilizer Manager.
