AGROCHEMICALS

is one of the key inputs we purchase on behalf of our members. Working with both distributor serviced agronomy and independent agronomy. Annually we purchase over £24 million of crop protection products. We have an excellent relationship with manufacturers. Not only does this ensure that we have the latest information on current products, but it also gives us insight into technology for the future. We are in constant communication with our members and their agronomists, keeping them up to date with what is going on at Woldmarsh, and encouraging them to let us know what is going on in the field. 

FERTILISER

was the second highest commodity by value purchased for members in the year 2009. £19million in value, comprising upwards of 120,000 Tonnes of solid and liquid fertiliser were sourced, delivered and where requested spread by contractors. We always encourage members to speak to us at the office in order to ensure that you have been made aware of the wide range of options. Whilst we tell you what is available, you remain in control.

SEED

purchasing is a specialised trade and Di our trader has ten years of experience trading and sourcing a wide range of requirements for members. As seed prices and availability are frequently volatile, we always encourage members to speak to us at the office in order to ensure that you have been made aware of the latest situation. A significant proportion of our seed trading involves trust deals. Members purchasing through us will be made aware if this is the case with the variety they are interested in.

this department covers a wide range of products for members. Below is a range of products which can be sourced at discounted prices:  

ELECTRICITY

At Woldmarsh we currently buy electricity for over 1800 sites, supplying all manner of uses, from cold stores to hatcheries, driers to domestic properties.

Our pricing negotiations are carried out on an annual or bi-annual basis to ensure continuity of cost throughout the seasons. We can also provide quotations for any additional sites or farms as a one-off, for either joining the Woldmarsh contract or for price comparison purposes. For those with electricity bought through Woldmarsh we have a dedicated account manager with our supplier to sort out any problems which may occur, in addition to Woldmarsh office staff who are experienced in advising on any billing or supply queries you may have.

FUEL

The Woldmarsh office will be happy to provide a price and an indication of price trends. Please give as much notice as possible when ordering. In addition to the Derv, Gas Oil, Petrol and Kerosene we can also supply LPG gas and the Aga additive for Kerosene.

Prices are provided on a daily basis to the Woldmarsh office by our suppliers.

To keep you updated on fuel prices we send out a weekly text in the summer and one every month during the winter with a fuel trend, members can always phone the office for a price in their area.
